Francesco Mariani teaches guitar at the prestigious Purcell School for Young Musicians, Dulwich College and the Harrow Music Service. His pupils have successfully gained places at the Royal Academy of Music (with scholarship), Royal College of Music (with scholarship), Royal Northern College of Music (with scholarship), Trinity Laban Conservatoire (with scholarship), Peabody Institute (with scholarship), San Francisco Conservatory (with scholarship), Cleveland Institute (with scholarship) and the National Youth Guitar Ensemble. His pupils have also had success in National competitions, notably 2016's Sky Arts Guitar Star, the Leicester MusicFest 2020 Guitar Award and the Leicester MusicFest 2022 Advanced Guitar Solo Prize.
In 2013 he founded the Stoke Newington Guitar Festival which has established itself as London's most unique guitar event. Francesco performs regularly in London, both solo and in duo with Mezzo-Soprano Gina Fergione. Recent concerts include a performance at the London Classical Guitar Festival at the Bolivar Hall. |
